Education, infrastructure and emergency aid: we fund clearly identified projects that improve people’s lives directly and in the long term. The work itself is carried out by the people on the ground.

Education is at the heart of our current project. In the mountain village of Siaqol, we are building a new, larger school for around 70 girls and boys – with electricity, heating and separate toilets for boys and girls.

In the mountain valley near Balna Shabbakhair, the people of the village completely renovated a second bridge over the summer of 2024, funded by our donations. It was opened in November 2024.

In 2023, we built a bridge near the village of Balna Shabbakhair that withstands even the spring snowmelt. It allows people to reach the neighbouring village, the school and medical facilities.
Location:Khaja Sarbur, HeratPeriod:December 2023
After several powerful earthquakes struck Herat Province in October 2023, we provided 16 families in the village of Khaja Sarbur with stoves and fuel for the winter in December 2023.
